Why does heart rate increase when you are scared or anxious?

Why does heart rate increase when you are scared or anxious?

When we suddenly panic or fear for some reason, then the heart beats faster. We think that the heart will come out.

Heart rate increases when you are scared, nervous and running. Because at this time the body asks for more nutrition. Which in medical language is called normal phenomenon (normal situation).

As the work of the heart is to pump blood, it moves according to the body's demand. When the demand of the body is high, the heart rate is high and when the demand is low, the drive is also low. This is a normal condition, not a symptom of any disease. Apart from this, when there is a fever, continuous physical exercise, running also increases the heart rate.

When a person is afraid, anxious and yearning due to emotions, the heart is affected. When a person is afraid or anxious, a special type of hormone is released in the body. Which is called catecholamine. When it comes out, the heart beats faster and moves more. At that time, the person is feeling stress and the same hormone does the job of calming that stress and bringing it back to normal. If some people are afraid of something or an event, then hormones are having an effect at that time.

There is no need to treat the increased heart rate. But if you are overly anxious and take more mental stress, heart problems may occur later. Which can lead to heart attack when the arteries of the heart are narrowed.

The doctor also treats the cause of the increased heart rate rather than treating the increased heart rate.

Heart disease can cause abnormal gait

In some people, heart rate increases due to heart disease. In order for the heart to move normally, current must flow through the heart. There is a path in the heart that takes out the current, which is called the sinus node. The sinus node produces a type of current. There is a fixed wire for the current released in this way, through which the current reaches all the chambers of the heart. But in some cases, the place where the current should flow is another, or there may be unnecessary wires that flow other current. In that case, the heart beats more than necessary. In this situation, if you are not doing any activity, even if you are sitting still, the heart rate will suddenly increase. Which is called tachycardia.

Tachycardia is one of the heart diseases. A person suffering from this disease has the possibility of sudden increase in movement. At that time, the symptoms of difficulty, wheezing, chest pain, difficulty in breathing and even fainting may appear. The disease can appear at any age from children to the elderly. Its risk is higher in people with heart attack.

heartbeat

A heart rate of 60 to 100 is considered normal. However, as the body's demand is less during sleep, it falls below 60 to 50, which is not abnormal.

When the heartbeat is more or less than required, it should be understood as an abnormal health condition. In both of these cases, the symptoms of dizziness, headache, heaviness, difficulty in breathing are seen while walking or sitting.

There can be various reasons for the decrease in heart rate. Congenital heart disease, in some cases, the structure of the heart changes with age. Because of this, other unnecessary places for the current in the heart may be created or the path may be different. Similarly, heart rate may decrease after heart infection and heart attack. There is a risk of death if the heart rate decreases in a person who has a heart attack. In that case, the heart rate can reach up to 200.

Treatment

All types of treatment related to heart rate fluctuations are possible in Nepal. It can be brought under control with treatment when the gait is reduced. If the heart rate is less than necessary, medicine does not necessarily fix it. For this, the treatment process can be advanced by using a pacemaker battery. The battery detects that the heart rate is low and controls it.

Similarly, if the heartbeat is more than necessary, medicine is also used for treatment. Another way is that it is possible to do it without tearing the chest and without fainting. After passing the wire from the leg to the heart, after finding out the cause of the increased movement, the machine deactivates the wire if there is a path and if the tissue that increases the movement is found, it is destroyed.

To keep the heart healthy, the heart must be kept healthy. For that, reducing the risk of affecting the heart will automatically control and regulate the movement. Healthy lifestyle, chronic disease control, physical exercise and stress management should be tried.
