Candidates paid 67,000 dollars to Facebook in the election campaign, who is first?

There is only one week left for the representative and provincial assembly elections. The candidates are busy campaigning with their cadres. Everyone continues to have their own passion and style of persuading voters. The use of modern information technology is also abundant in it. Campaigns are going on through social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok and other internet-based platforms. Which has become natural and necessary. But when looking for the intricacies of the 'electoral network', many knots of problems are found there. The election-focused activities going on in the network reach the financial stage. It seems that the candidates who are contesting to move to the legislative role due to the weakness of the state apparatus and regulators do not pay attention to the existing laws and financial discipline.

Instagram's 'Tiktok' coming

Instagram's 'Tiktok' coming

The rising popularity of video-sharing app Tiktok has attracted the world's leading technology companies. Following the controversial Chinese app Tiktak, the popular photo-sharing app Instagram is bringing its own 'Tiktak'.

Announcing this on Friday, Tiktok revealed that it is preparing to launch its video-sharing feature. The name of the video-sharing service of Instagram will be 'Reels'.

Reels will be launched in the United States and 50 other countries in August. Remember, Instagram has started testing reels in India since last week. Given India's ban on tickets, Instagram sees the launch of Reels in India as a test.

A Facebook spokesperson said: "We are always looking for what people want and are constantly innovating to improve the user experience. Platforms like Snap, Ticket, and others were created keeping in mind the desires of the people. But we can do that in a new way through Instagram than on those platforms and address the demands of our community. '

In Instagram's video sharing feature reels, users will be able to record, edit 15-second videos, add their favorite music and audio, and upload them to Stories and Instagram's Explore feature.

Instagram and its parent company Facebook are ahead in learning the various features of other apps. In 2016, Facebook and Instagram launched the Stories feature, which allows users to share their lost content within 24 hours.

This feature became very popular on Instagram and within 8 months, the number of users of the Instagram Stories feature surpassed the number of Snapchat users. That number doubled in 2018.

Instagram is not alone in learning about Tiktak's growing popularity. Even YouTube is making its own tick, named Shirts. YouTube shirts will be made public by the end of 2020.

The screen sharing feature on Facebook Messenger, now you can see your friend's mobile screen

Millions of people use the social media site Facebook's messenger service every day. In April, the number of monthly active users of Facebook was 2.6 billion. Facebook is constantly bringing new updates for the users. And, recently, Facebook has added an important feature to its messenger app. The screen sharing feature has now been added to Facebook Messenger.

According to Facebook, the Messenger app will have screen sharing options for Android and iOS users. Until now, this feature was only available in the web version of Messenger, which has now been rolled out to the app version.

According to Facebook, this feature will also be available in Facebook's video conferencing service 'Messenger Rooms'. It is expected that Messenger Rooms will be able to compete with Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

Due to the Coronavirus epidemic, the increasing use of virtual meetings, including video conferencing, has become a necessity for screen sharing features on such digital platforms. From sharing an official presentation, screen sharing is also required for teachers during a video or virtual reading. With the help of the new feature, users will now be able to share their phone screen with anyone in Messenger. This feature will be available to all users with new updates.

This new feature in the Messenger app can be used for one-to-one video calls as well as group video calling of up to eight people. For this, the user has to login to the Messenger app and open the app and make a video call to someone. As soon as the call is added, an option called Share Your Screen will appear in the tab at the bottom of the screen. After tapping on it, the Messenger user connected to the video call will see the screen of your smartphone.

Six G internet speed, one thousand gigabits per second

Six G internet speed, one thousand gigabits per second

Even the Five G Internet has not yet become commercially global. South Korean company Samsung has already started work on the development of Six G Internet.

It is said that Samsung has a plan to complete the construction of 6G internet infrastructure and bring it into commercial use by 2028. By 2030, the Six G Internet will be widely used in the world.

Samsung launched the Advanced Communication Research Center in May 2019 to develop the SixG Internet. Research by the same research center has projected the future of the Six G Internet.

According to Samsung, by 2030, the world's six billion devices will be connected to the Six G Internet. By then, mobile phones will be available in a variety of formats and technologies, including augmented reality glasses, virtual reality headsets, and holograms.

SixG's ultra-high-speed internet will be essential for multimedia devices such as immersive XR, mobile holograms, and digital replicas. Six G connectivity's peak data speed is expected to be 1,000 gigabits per second. That's 50 times faster than the Five. Five G has a peak data speed of 20 gigabits per second.
To expand network coverage, the Terahertz frequency band will be used in the Six G network. The Six G is expected to use artificial intelligence in wireless communication technology.

At a time when the commercialization of the Five G Internet is still in its infancy in the world, it is not unreasonable to start preparations for the Six G. But according to Sunghiun, head of Samsung's Advanced Communications Research Center, it will take at least 10 years to develop and commercialize the SixG network, so it is important to start preparing for the SixG now.

Social media photos will not be stored in Google Photos

Google will stop automatically storing photos and videos from social media such as Instagram and WhatsApp in the Google Photos app.

According to a recent decision by Google, photos and videos received by users through social media platforms will no longer be automatically 'backed up' in the Google Photos app.

Google said the decision was made to save Internet resources, saying users shared more photos and videos during the Corona virus epidemic.

Google Photos captures the user's device storage as well as bandwidth.

YouTube and Netflix, among others, have already decided to reduce Internet traffic by reducing the pressure on the Internet network to prevent the world from crashing.

These apps will be affected by the recent decision not to store social media content in Google Photos:

Facebook

WhatsApp

However, photos and videos that have already been backed up to Google Photos will not be affected.

Remember that some apps, including WhatsApp, have the option to disable the option to store videos and photos automatically in the Google app.

Top 50 inventive companies in the world this year -2020

Here are the top 50 inventive companies in the world this year

Kathmandu. As in real life, exploration is a powerful combination of operation, shape, and skill. Operations set ambitious agendas and invest in potential opportunities.

Size can turn those opportunities into new sources of income. Skills become an integral part of holistic exploration, which is needed forever.

The size and power of exploration-based companies around the world are growing. Out of the 50 exploration-based companies on Boston Consulting Group-BCG's 2020 list, smaller companies have revenues of 30 billion.

Since the first survey in 2005, their income has increased by 170 percent, or  11 billion. But operation and size are meaningless when your exploration system can't work on it.

BCG's investigation has drawn more serious conclusions about this. A series of explorations is awkward. Out of 162 companies, 50 companies have been at the top of BCG for the last 14 years. 30 companies once fell on this list.

Fifty-seven percent of companies made it to the list three times or less. Only eight companies, including Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, HP, IBM, Microsoft, Samsung, and Toyota, make it to the list each year.

When BCG began research for the 14th edition of the 'Most Innovative Company' report, COVID 19 arrived. The main theme of this year was about the importance and benefits of a series of explorations.

This discovery has become even more relevant today as the leadership of research is making sweeping changes in supply, demand, consumer behavior, and the way it does business. Besides, companies have doubled their exploration during the current recession.

Companies are taking advantage of investment opportunities and working to overcome this situation. But the development of a clear exploration strategy is a prerequisite for its successful completion, which requires proper investment support.

Your search system should be able to quickly identify and use this opportunity. While researching these topics, a global innovation performance database of thousands of companies was created.

The study was started to find out what practices of those companies enabled him to rise above the rest of the world.

Committed to exploration

For two-thirds of the companies included in the study, exploration has always been a top-three management priority. This is the lowest level of the financial crisis in 2009 and 2010.

The uncertain economy that emerged due to geopolitical tensions before the spread of COVID 19 is also thought to be one of the reasons. This finding can be analyzed more subtly. Committed investigators, who accounted for 45 percent, said exploration was their top priority.

He also mentioned that he has made significant investment commitment. Another concern was that exploration, which accounted for 30 percent, was not a strategic priority and was not a special area of investment.

Similarly, 25 percent of the ambiguous investigators have not invested as much in the strategic importance of the investigation.

The study found that 56 percent of researchers were in the financial and pharmaceutical sectors, 32 percent in wholesale and retail, and 37 percent in industrial goods.

Committed investigators have won. In the business started three years ago, the sales ratio of goods and services to such investigators has increased by 60 percent. The business of suspicious investigators has increased by 30 percent and the business of dilemma researchers by 47 percent.

Even in previous investigative reports, there was a big difference between committed investigators and others. Looking at the example of 2019, there was a big gap between the business of strong and weak investigators when it comes to using artificial intelligence.

The strong investigators involved in this study have found that external investigations, such as incubators and partnerships with educational institutions, have progressed.

According to a 2018 research report, 80 percent of strong investigators digitized their investigative processes well, while 30 percent were weak.

The expanding business of strong investigators is the latest evidence of the strong link between commitment to exploration and its analogy. This situation is seen in all areas related to exploration.

How do committed investigators work?

Most companies try to address multiple exploration challenges at once. But committed investigators handle only a few exploratory tasks at a time and get the right results by addressing them.

They focus on advanced analytics, digital design, and technical platforms. There are various reasons behind embracing these three special things of technology.

For example, advanced analytics has always been a top priority for industrial goods companies looking for new analytics-driven value propositions.

For example, agricultural equipment manufacturers are now moving to create the easiest agricultural technology possible through IoT (Internet of Things).

Even among the most committed investigators, only 60 percent have solved their priority challenge. There is plenty of room for improvement for other companies. Another challenge the success of can not be repeated.

Innovation and discovery

The researchers asked executives at various top investigative companies after 2015. Which has seen a new amazing pattern this year?

When the research was done on this topic, it was found that companies from different fields came to different fields and led the research. For example, Amazon is exploring the health sector, while Alibaba is exploring financial services.

In today's world where all sectors are becoming technical industries, it is very important to be able to develop exploration capacity by merging other sectors with one's own.

Many companies have broken through the wall and entered another area. Three M Company has explored many industries in the last few years.

These include consumer goods, chemicals, construction, and Medtech. Compared to 2016, this trend has increased even more (about 20 percent). New players following this trend are Sony, Nike, Xiaomi, and JD.com.

If you look at the data at the industry level, software and service companies are entering such areas. Automakers, chemical companies, retailers, and industrial manufacturers are entering the field of other companies.

Because they have seen opportunities in the business model driven by new technology. They have also found a source of income outside their core business.

Top 50 Innovative Companies

BCG's best inventor company is based on a comprehensive survey of 2,500 innovation executives from around the world, selected from a poll conducted from August 2019 to October 2019.

The company's performance was divided into four areas and averaged by calculating scores in the survey.

Facebook bans advertising in Chinese and Russian media

The social networking site Facebook has banned Chinese and Russian state-run media outlets from targeting US users.

Russia and China, along with other government-controlled media outlets, have announced that they will begin "naming government" on Facebook platforms and will ban US-targeted advertising on such media outlets from next summer.

Facebook's official media outlets include Russia's Sputnik, Iran's Press TV and China's Xinhua. Two hundred other similar government media websites will be labeled as government.

However, Facebook will not immediately "label" any US news organization. Facebook claims that even the media run by the US government has editorial freedom.

In the 2016 US presidential election, Facebook was criticized by Russians for abusing Facebook and influencing the election results. Facebook has already admitted its weakness in the incident. Learning from the same incident, Facebook is taking strong steps to prevent the misuse of Facebook by countries including China and the United States to influence the upcoming US presidential election. Facebook has adopted a policy of strict transparency in pages and advertisements for publishing advertisements on its platform.

Remember that the US presidential election is taking place next November.

The listing of state-controlled media, including China and Russia, does not include media run by any leader or political party.

China, meanwhile, has criticized Facebook's move. A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman told a news conference on Friday that social media companies should not create certain media barriers.

Russian media outlet Sputnik has issued a statement calling on governments around the world to take control of Facebook, a US-led operation to curb freedom of speech.

However, Facebook is not alone in treating state-controlled media differently. In 2018, YouTube began identifying government-invested YouTube channels. However, critics say YouTube has failed to identify some government-controlled YouTube channels that contain false propaganda news and information videos.

With Facebook's decision to label government-controlled media, there will now be signs of government control on the pages and news feed posts of such media that appear on Facebook.

Having an online meeting? Voice call or other charges!

Due to the global impact of coronavirus disease (Covid-19), the practice of people doing many things online through the internet has increased. One of them is online meeting and conferencing through various apps.

Nowadays, the use of online classes, online meetings and video conferencing for school and campus students has increased widely, whether it is online meetings, video calls in groups with relatives, family members, relatives at home or abroad.

There are many apps and platforms available on the Internet for online meetings. Meetings or conferences can be held from most of the platforms using the internet without any charge other than the internet. However, online meetings from some premium apps or software may incur additional charges.

Before using the online conferencing platform for your meetings or conversations, you need to look closely at the terms of the respective apps or platforms. Dialing international numbers for meetings or dialing international numbers from the respective service provider's customer service center may incur voice call charges or other charges.

Recently, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), India's telecom regulator, said caution should be exercised when using online meeting platforms, saying customers' voice service bills could rise unexpectedly. According to him, on such platforms, customers have been complaining about the charges for voice calls when they unknowingly call international numbers.

In Nepal too, the use of such online meeting platforms for various purposes is on the rise. In the current situation, mobile customers and users need to understand the charges related to the numbers and helplines associated with such platforms. Otherwise, there is a risk that in the case of prepaid customers, the balance from mobile may decrease and in case of postpaid, more bills may come.

Telecom company Ncell has also asked its customers to be vigilant during the increasing trend of online meetings. The company has advised its customers to be aware of this from their Facebook page and to check the terms and conditions while using such platforms.

Since such online meeting platforms and service providers' respective workplaces and customer service centers are located abroad, their numbers are premium or international. Of course, calling such numbers for information, knowingly or unknowingly, may incur higher charges for calling a premium number or international calls.

China is bringing digital currency, alarm bells for the US dollar

China wants to introduce a digital yuan called e-RMB in 2022. People moving to China in 2022 may have to shop or transact in the new digital currency here.

It will be a currency that cannot be seen, nor will it be held in the hand like other notes. This is not a fantasy. At a time when all countries of the world were struggling with the corona virus infection, China was embarking on a pilot project on the digital yuan currency. Last month, China's central bank, the People's Bank of China, launched work on the project in four major cities: Shenzhen, Chengdu, Sunzhou and Jiangxi.

A portion of the government employees' salaries in the project will be paid in digital yuan.

Twenty different private businesses such as McDonald's and Starbucks have also participated in the project. If successful, the Chinese government will be able to issue the digital currency nationwide by the time of the 2022 Winter Olympics.

However, this will be done in a phased manner and may take a few years. In fact, work on the project began in 2014. China is working very hard to implement it. There are three main reasons for this: the growing trade war with the United States, repeated allegations by the United States and the West about the corona virus, and Facebook's plans to launch a digital currency called Libra this year.

Radical change

The advent of the digital yuan is seen as an event that could change the world's current balance. It is part of China's ambitious project to end US influence and emerge as a powerful country in the 21st century. According to experts, its successful use could lead to the emergence of a new political and economic system in 10-15 years.

Dr. Faisal Ahmed, a China expert at the Fer School of Management in New Delhi, India, says, ‘India and the United States are also developing their own digital currencies, Lakshmi and Digital Dollars, respectively. But so far this is far from the reality. '

US dollar versus digital currency

Now the Chinese 'Dragon' has overtaken the Indian 'Lakshmi'. But experts say it also threatens the dollar, the world's biggest money maker. According to experts, the US Federal Reserve's multi-billion dollar debt is overvalued. A new currency is definitely welcome. But its global acceptance will take a long time.

The digital yuan is a big step towards bridging the gap with the US dollar. The US dollar is currently the world's most widely circulated currency, beginning in the early 1970's with the end of the gold standard. According to experts, the growing anti-globalization environment is becoming a threat to the dollar due to the trade war between the US and China and the Corona epidemic. However, this change will take time as there is no immediate alternative.

The current value of the US dollar can also be gauged from the fact that in 2019, the US dollar accounted for about 90 percent of international monetary transactions. By comparison, the Chinese yuan accounts for only 2 percent of global payments and reserves.

On the other hand, the US dollar accounts for 60 percent of the world's foreign exchange reserves. Interestingly, there are even three trillion dollars in US currency in China's coffers. China can use it in various ways, from which it will grow. According to experts, China could also use the currency to provide incentives to other countries for geopolitical benefits and to invest in countries involved in the Belt and Road project from Central Asia to the Arctic.

Due to the influence of the US dollar and its importance, the United States has been able to maintain its dominance in world political and economic affairs. Its sanctions against Iran, Russia, North Korea and some other countries, for example, have been made possible by international trade and banks' reliance on the US dollar.

The German bank released a report in January stating that the Chinese digital currency could upset the world's balance of power.

The report said, ‘China is working on a digital currency with the help of its central bank, which it can use as a soft or hard power tool. If companies doing business in China are forced to use the digital yuan, it could certainly destroy the dollar's dominance in global financial markets. ' Of course, the digital yuan and similar digital currencies cannot completely eliminate notes. But it can also lead to the end of third parties, such as credit cards.

Facebook's Libra Versus China's Digital Yuan

The mainstream digital currencies now include Facebook's Libra and the Chinese government's digital currency, according to a report by the German national bank Deutsche Bank. Facebook has nearly 2.5 billion users, a third of the world's population. Similarly, China has a population of 1.4 billion. So both Facebook and China have the potential to push digital currency into the mainstream.

But the important difference between other digital currencies and the digital yuan is this
The digital yuan will be issued by the Central Bank of China. Due to which it will be accepted and trust will increase.
However, all other digital currencies are decentralized and do not fall under the purview of any regulatory authority.

According to Noah Hariri, a young Israeli historian and thinker, money is a myth that has significance around the world. Anyone who trusts the dollar and values it. But as America's power in the world dwindles, another power will take its place. Now China is far ahead in that race.
