How to increase immunity?

 How to increase immunity?

Corona ruined a lot of things. How many lives were lost from this world disease, how many families? Some suffered physical pain and some mental stress. However, because of Corona, the human community was able to realize something.

For example, the physical distance must be maintained to avoid any infectious disease. Pay attention to physical hygiene. Eat nutritious and balanced food. And, the body's ability to fight disease should be increased.

Adopting a healthy lifestyle is the best option for a strong immune system. Every part of our body functions properly and efficiently only when it has a healthy diet and a positive environment. Minimize stress in life. Get enough sleep. There is a strong link between sleep and immunity. Low or poor quality sleep can cause sleep deprivation or other illnesses.

According to a study, people who sleep less than 6 hours every night are more likely to get the disease sooner. Especially colds or flu-cough. Therefore, sleep is also considered a medicine.

Adequate and deep sleep. Balanced and nutritious food. Active routine. Regular exercise. Positive thoughts. By balancing all of these, the risk of disease can be avoided. Because it is to increases the body's immune system.

Zinc

It is a nutrient that works well for our immune system and metabolism. Foods like cashew nuts and bean seeds are essential to meet the zinc requirement.

Regular exercise

As you grow older, your physical activity slows down. This does not mean that we are completely inactive. Regular physical activity strengthens the immune system. It protects our bodies from infectious diseases. So regular exercise is necessary to keep the body active. Exercise should be a part of your daily routine.

Stay hydrated

Water intake is essential for a high immune system. Adequate water or liquid food is especially important in the summer months. A healthy person needs eight glasses of water daily. In addition, you should eat liquid food.

To be stress-free

Stress is not the solution to any problem. Stress hurts itself. Of course, because of household chores, daily chores can cause us some kind of stress. Even stress cannot be completely removed. Stress can be managed.

Quit smoking

Cigarette chemicals adversely affect the lungs. It can cause cancer. It can also cause respiratory diseases such as flu, bronchitis, and pneumonia. So you need to quit smoking to strengthen your immune system.

Being close to nature

We should try to be one with nature. You have to learn to enjoy the forest and the birds. Must be in contact with soil and water. It not only relieves stress but also develops positive thinking.

Vitamin C.

Taro fruits and vegetables are rich in vitamin C. Consumption of such foods helps to increase white blood cells in the body, which is necessary to prevent infectious diseases.

Are you sleep-deprived too?

In 2019, a pillow-making company in India had advertised for 20 different posts of Slip Internship. There were 1.7 million applications.

During the sleep internship, the condition was to sleep for 9 hours for 100 nights. The company was ready to pay Rs 1 lakh to Pratyars Intern for this.

Everyone who saw the ad thought, 'This is a big deal. I can sleep nine hours in a hundred days. 'But was it as easy as I thought?

Sleeping soundly and confidently has become a challenge for now. People's sleep is disturbed. People are becoming chronically ill due to a lack of deep and adequate sleep. Doctors say that 7 or 8 hours of sleep daily is essential for a healthy life. However, people are not getting enough and deep sleep even if they want to.

Research shows that three out of every ten people who recover from a coronary period during sleep are severely disturbed. That is, they are victims of insomnia. However, not all problems associated with insomnia may be ill. So it is important to know when insomnia is normal or when it is risky.

The stage of sleep

A senior psychiatrist at the Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences, Dr. Om Prakash says that a sleep cycle lasts 90 minutes. In one night's sleep, we complete about 4-5 such cycles.

The first stage of a 90-minute cycle is called Non-Rapid Eye Movement Sleep (NREM). In common parlance, this is called deep sleep. It is longer than the second stage.

The second stage is called Rapid Eye Movement Sleep (REM). It is at this stage that most of us dream. Often we miss this time of sleep.

When we are asleep, the chromosome NREM decreases, and the REM increases. No matter how many people talk about problems related to insomnia, they have problems associated with these two stages.

People who have problems with the NREM phase say that I am not conscious. I was getting a good night's sleep. While those who have problems during the REM phase, say, I woke up early in the morning. I couldn't sleep. '

When do sleep problems get complicated?

There are some types of sleep problems. For example, not getting enough sleep, getting too much sleep, falling asleep, having a terror attack during sleep. After Corona, most people have problems with sleep, not just any type of disorder. Some people may be exceptions.

Doctors say that there are two different types of sleep problems and related diseases. For example, hunger is a problem. But, eating what is found in front of it is a disorder, it is sick.

Most people have trouble falling asleep three or four times a month. This condition is not sick. After Corona, about 3 in 10 people have this problem. This means that it is a problem but it has not taken the form of a disease.

Depression, anxiety, or respiratory problems are more common. It has some side effects, such as memory loss, inability to make decisions, and obesity. People are aware of all these dangers, but they are ignoring them.

Early symptoms of sleep disorders

First, not getting enough sleep. Or a short sleep period.

Second, poor sleep quality.

Third, mismatch the timing of sleep.

It is also important to keep in mind that not everyone needs the same amount of sleep. Some people feel refreshed even after sleeping five or six hours a day. They are called short-term sleepers. Some people get 8 to 10 hours of sleep. They are called long-term sleepers. If they have a disorder during this time, it is considered an early sign of sleep-related illness.

If this continues for a long time, a doctor's consultation is necessary.

Sleep problems after corona

Dr. Purna Chandrika, director of the Chennai Institute of Mental Health, says, "People's lifestyles changed dramatically during Corona. I had to sit in isolation as soon as I got sick. When did I have to go to the hospital? Those who were not sick were also deprived of going out, meeting friends, doing physical work. They spend a lot of time on social media. '

We had to deal with various kinds of terror, confusion, and uncertainty. All of this had an effect on sleep.
