This is primarily an electrical problem in which the heart beats irregularly and the heart cannot pump blood properly. Due to which the body cannot reach the important organs of the body including the brain and lungs. The heart stops working.

When cardiac arrest occurs, people suddenly become unconscious. Death can occur if not treated in time. Therefore, in the case of sudden cardiac arrest, it is important to start treatment immediately.

What are the symptoms?

There are no symptoms of sudden cardiac arrest. But without immediate treatment, the patient is unlikely to survive. However, cardiac arrest can make the patient unconscious, unresponsive, and abnormal breathing.

Heart-related causes of cardiac arrest?

- Coronary artery disease

- Heart attack

- Cardiomyopathy

- Congenital heart disease

- Problems in the arteries of the heart

- Swelling in the heart muscle

- Abnormal heart rate

Other causes of cardiac arrest

- Getting current

- Excessive use of drugs

- To waste blood

- Drowning

Moreover, if an automated external defibrillator is available in the ambulance, the patient should be treated immediately with that device.

What is a heart attack?
