Can the tattoo be removed completely?

Can the tattoo be removed completely?

The practice of carving tattoos on various parts of the body was not only present in Nepal but also since before. Especially Newar, Tharu and other communities have a tradition of tattooing. But recently tattoo is growing as a fashion. There is a craze for tattoos in today's youth.

If you like a tattoo, it seems attractive, but sometimes if it is not as you say, if it is not suitable for a profession or if you are bored when you look at it, then the same tattoo can become a problem. If the tattoo is becoming a problem, there is no need to worry. Because the technology to remove the tattoo has been introduced.

Laser effective means

Our skin has three layers. The outer part of it is variable. But when tattooing of a permanent nature, it is carried to the inside of all three layers. That is why it stays forever. Laser is the most effective way to remove the tattoo. The laser will also break up permanent color in large to small tattoos. Which is slowly absorbed by the blood there and gradually disappears.

How is it removed?

First of all, it is seen where it is, its shape and color is dark or pale. After that, a painless cream is applied to the area to be removed. Which does not cause any pain. After that, since the laser light affects the eyes, the doctor and the person who is going to remove it are allowed to wear glasses for safety.

Then the skin is removed with a laser technology machine. If there is a small tattoo, it can be removed in 5-10 minutes. A large tattoo will take an hour or more.

The tattoo doesn't go away all at once

A permanent tattoo cannot be removed at once. According to its size and what colors are filled, it has a session. It may take 6 to 8 steps to remove the tattoo properly.

If black color tattoos and home carved tattoos are seen in old people, it is easy and less time consuming to remove such tattoos. However, it is difficult to remove dark and multi-colored tattoos. Therefore, the darker the tattoo, the faster it will be difficult to go, so you have to go through the steps accordingly. Not only that, the next step should be done within 4 to 6 weeks after it has been done once. You can experience up to 20% removal of the tattoo after one treatment.

Does the tattoo come off 100 percent?

Tattoos that are not too dark and made by machine at home can go through 100% therapy. But a very dark and green tattoo is difficult to go 100% but it doesn't mean it won't go. It may take more sessions.

After treatment

Do not water the area for a day after the laser treatment. As soon as the laser is applied, the skin will be sensitive for a few days, so do not swim or massage. Similarly, you should protect your skin from sunlight for a few days, avoid any kind of friction in case of blisters, apply antibiotic cream for 10 days. Even if the wound is wet, the cream should be applied. The most important thing to pay attention to is that it cannot be removed by pregnant women.

How much does it cost?

Its fee may vary according to the size of the tattoo, color and the machine used for it. A fee of Rs 5,000 to 10,000 may be charged at the one-time stage.

Something to note

Tattoo removal should only be done by an experienced doctor. Because you have to take care of what color tattoo and what kind of laser machine to use. Only skilled and experienced doctors can have good information about this.

Since a small mistake can cause other problems, it should be done only once by understanding the kind of person who will take the service from the machine rather than going to random places.
