Colostrum is edible how much?

Colostrum is edible how much?

"People who drink cow's milk every day are strong." We all grew up hearing this saying from the mouths of elders. Many of us have a habit of drinking a glass of milk in the morning and before going to bed at night.

Rich in nutrients, milk plays an important role in brain and bone development. After a cow or buffalo calves, it produces thick milk for 10-12 days. Colostrum milk is considered very nutritious. There is still a tradition of consuming this milk in the villages.

What can be found in Bigouti?

Bigouti milk is thick and light yellow in color. It contains probiotics, magnesium, calcium, vitamins A, D, E and K, proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals and special types of proteins called antibodies. These colostrums fight disease-causing agents like bacteria and viruses. The level of antibodies in it can be 100 times higher than the level found in regular cow's milk. Which gives the body the ability to fight disease.

Comparatively, cow's milk is more digestible than other animals, so it is considered very beneficial for humans. Similarly, buffalo milk contains a lot of fat, protein and calories, which are difficult to digest easily.

An elixir for children and the elderly

Ayurveda considers cow's colostrum as an elixir for children and the elderly. Antibodies found in it help to increase the amount of immunoglobin and increase immunity. Calcium, vitamins and magnesium play a role in developing bones in children, reducing bone weakness in the elderly and strengthening them.

Similarly, vitamin A helps to improve eyesight. Vitamin A is one of the essential nutrients for the eyes. Likewise, raw cow's milk contains probiotics, i.e. live micro-organisms, which increase the ability to fight disease. It also helps fight various infections.

Cow's milk also helps a lot in keeping bones healthy. It helps to strengthen bones from children to the elderly. Bigouti also works to increase body weight and provide nutrition for malnourished people.

Can a newborn baby eat?

No other milk can replace mother's milk. A newborn baby's body is delicate and the digestive system is not yet mature. Therefore, infants up to one year old should not be allowed to eat it. Then you can eat little by little. It increases the ability to fight disease.

quantity

The amount of colostrum is not determined according to age. Fatty milk cannot be easily digested. How much a obese person eats depends on how strong the body's digestive power is. Those who do not digest milk-related food easily, their stomach may also be disturbed. People who cannot tolerate milk products should not eat milk.

Mixing with salt and sour is harmful

Mixing milk with salt and sour is harmful for health. Be it Bigouti or regular milk. When these elements are mixed, the milk splits. Not only that, the mixture of salt and sour cream produces casein, which can cause vomiting and upset stomach. Also, it can cause skin allergies.
