Triphala Churna: Strengthens digestion, controls constipation


The most commonly used herb in Ayurveda is triphala powder. Triphala Churna, which is prepared by mixing different types of herbs, cures many types of diseases.


Triphala Churna is a yogic formula made from the combination of Harro, Barro and Amla, three fruits with medicinal properties. It is available in the market in the form of triphala powder, triphala tablets, triphala syrup.



Any kind of diseases in the human body are caused by tridosha ie Vata, Pitta and Kapha disorders. Use of Triphala Churna is considered to be effective in balancing Vata, Pitta and Kapha simultaneously.


Benefits of Triphala



Triphala strengthens digestion by increasing the growth of good bacteria in the digestive system. Triphala powder is mainly used to keep the body healthy. It is used to get rid of constipation, lose weight, increase immunity, keep eyes and skin healthy. Many people mix this powder with water and consume it.


How to use?


It can be used before going to bed at night for better digestion and to avoid complications like constipation. People suffering from chronic constipation can take two tablespoons of Triphala Churna with lukewarm water before going to bed at night.


People who have been suffering from constipation for some time can consume one table spoon of triphala powder with lukewarm water. Similarly, common people can also use it to strengthen their digestive system. One teaspoon of triphala powder can be taken daily with lukewarm water.


If the stool becomes thinner while taking triphala, the dose can be reduced a little.


How to make Triphala Churna at home


Triphala Churna can be made at home. For this, the seeds should be removed by thoroughly cleaning the harro, barro and amla. After removing the seeds from the fruit, it should be finely chopped and dried in the sun for 2-3 days. Then put all the three fruits one by one in the mixer and grind them well.


Now keep 100-100 grams of these three powders and put them in a bowl and mix them well.
