What are the procedures for postmortems and identification of those who died in the protests?

What are the procedures for postmortems and identification of those who died in the protests?

Coordination between forensic science, police, and hospitals is necessary to identify and determine the cause of death of those who died during the protests.

An official letter of medico-legal examination from the police is required before the postmortem is conducted, which confirms the cause of death.

DNA analysis and other scientific methods are used to identify bodies that have been burned, but identifying completely burned bodies is challenging.

Violent incidents during protests cause great human loss. In such incidents, a complex and sensitive procedure is adopted to identify and determine the cause of death of those who die due to gunshots, fire, or other injuries.

Coordination between forensic science, as well as the police, and hospitals is very important to identify and determine the cause of death of the deceased. This process is sensitive from both a scientific and legal perspective.

Incident and initial procedures

People who die during the protests are often taken to the hospital immediately by eyewitnesses or friends. The name of the deceased is registered in the hospital and treatment is attempted. If the person is confirmed not to be alive, the body is sent for postmortem. Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Kathmandu is a well-equipped centre for mortuary storage and postmortem. The body is preserved in a freezer facility. The teaching hospital has the necessary equipment for proper management of the body and postmortem, which makes the process systematic.

Identification process of the deceased

Initial identification

The identity cards, jewellery or other personal belongings of the deceased form the initial basis for identification. The name and address of the deceased can be ascertained from such items. If such items are not available, the relatives come to the hospital and identify the body.

Personal belongings are of great help in the identification process, but sometimes other scientific methods have to be used in cases where these items are destroyed.

Notification to relatives

Once the details of the deceased are registered in the hospital, the relatives are informed. The hospital maintains a list of the names of the deceased, which the relatives look at to identify the body. Once the identity is confirmed, the postmortem process proceeds.

Postmortem and medico-legal process

A medical-legal examination is required from the police before a postmortem can be conducted. In cases where police stations are affected, such a letter is issued by the Kathmandu Police Complex. A postmortem determines the cause of death, such as gunshot wounds, injuries or fire. This process is important for the relatives of the deceased and the community to uncover the truth.

The main causes of death during the protests currently include gunshot wounds, internal injuries, head injuries or fire. In cases of gunshot deaths, doctors analyze the nature of the bullet and the damage to the body.

Identification of people who died in a fire

The identification of bodies that died in a fire is complicated. For example, in the case of seven people who died in a fire in Bhatbhateni, identification is challenging. Methods such as presumptive identification and DNA analysis are used to identify burned bodies. If jewelry, clothes or other personal belongings are left, they can be used to identify them.

DNA Analysis

When a body is not completely burned and some tissue remains, DNA is extracted and analyzed. This process is carried out at the Central Forensic Science Laboratory of the Nepal Police. DNA analysis can confirm the identity of the deceased, but this process is time-consuming and resource-intensive.

DNA Analysis Process

DNA Extraction

DNA is extracted from white blood cells, because red blood cells do not have a nucleus. DNA can be extracted from bones or teeth in burned bodies, if they are not destroyed.

Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR-M)

If the amount of DNA is low, the amount of DNA is increased by the PCR-M process. This makes it easier to analyze the DNA sequence adenine, guanine, thymine, cytosine.

Profile Matching

The DNA profile of the deceased is compared with the DNA of his father or mother. A 50 percent match between the father or mother's DNA confirms the identity.

Challenges in completely burnt bodies

If the body is completely burnt and the tissues are destroyed, DNA analysis is not possible. In such a case, identification becomes impossible. Also, if the relatives of the deceased do not contact them in time, the process becomes more complicated. The possibility of identifying completely burnt bodies is limited, but we must make the most of the resources and technology available.

This process is not only to identify the deceased and determine the cause of death, but it is also a means of ensuring truth and justice in society. Such sensitive processes provide comfort to the victim’s family and provide truthful information to society.

Are there elderly people who take regular medicines at home? 5 things to pay attention to

Are there elderly people who take regular medicines at home? 5 things to pay attention to

Diabetes, cataracts, high blood pressure, arthritis and mental problems can appear in old age and advice from a psychiatrist should be sought.

Keep medicines in a safe place, make a list of medicines, double check to avoid taking the wrong medicines and follow the doctor's instructions.

With increasing age, various diseases take hold in the body. The body becomes weak. Problems such as diabetes, cataracts, high blood pressure, hearing loss, heart disease, joint pain and arthritis can appear. Similarly, mental problems such as depression, dementia, sleep problems, etc. can appear.

Old age is a stage of life. There is a possibility of getting diseases in this state. Many things have been neglected due to urbanization. In such a situation, people do not respond properly to the elderly and try to stay away from them.

Due to this, the elderly also fall into depression. In old age, advice from a psychiatrist should be sought so that these diseases do not harm the body. Then the long list of medications begins. Sometimes some medications have to be taken for life. However, with advancing age, caution should be exercised when taking medications, otherwise they may cause harm instead of benefit. According to many studies, many people over the age of 65 are dependent on medications. Therefore, medication management is very important.

How to pay attention to the elderly's medications?

1. Keep all medications and vitamins in one place

If the medications are kept in different places, it is much easier for the elderly in the house to keep them in one place. Sometimes there may be no other members in the house, in which case the elderly can take the medication themselves. However, if the medications are kept in different places, the elderly may forget to take some medications.

For example, some people keep some pills in the kitchen, while others keep them by the bed or in other places. But many medications have to be taken at the same time. In such a situation, they may be missed due to the medications being kept in different places. Which may reduce the effectiveness of the medication. Therefore, it is important to understand well with the doctor which medicine to take and when. Negligence in time or dosage can put you at greater risk. If the elderly take their own medication, set a reminder on their mobile phone.

2. Keep the medication in a safe place

In general, medications should be stored in a cool and dry place. This means that they should be stored carefully. Otherwise, cold and sunlight can reduce the effectiveness of the medication. Medications should be stored out of reach of children or pets. Follow the doctor's or pharmacist's instructions for medications that need to be stored in a special place.

3. Create and maintain a medication list

To avoid negative drug interactions, it is important for the elderly to know what regular medications they are taking. Therefore, an up-to-date list of their medications, vitamins, and supplements should be kept.

The name of the medication should be kept, and the condition it is used for. It is helpful to note how many times a day they take the medication or use it. It is important to keep track of whether the elderly are taking each medication prescribed by the doctor correctly.

It is important to know whether the medication is for short-term or long-term use. You should also pay attention to the expiration date of the medication and to ensure that the elderly do not take any medication repeatedly.

4. Double-check to avoid taking the wrong medication

Some elderly people are taking multiple medications, vitamins, or supplements. In such cases, you should be careful not to take any other wrong medication. Use an online drug interaction checker to avoid any interactions with your doctor or pharmacist.

5. Make sure the medication instructions are clear

It is important to follow the doctor's instructions with the medication. If this is not followed, the medication may not work properly. Therefore, it is important to follow what the doctor says. This reduces the risk of negative drug interactions and side effects.

Elderly people should understand which medications are safe to take at the same time. Some medications need to be taken with food before taking them, while others need to be taken on an empty stomach. If there is any uncertainty, you should seek clarification and detailed instructions from your doctor.

Who is more at risk of diabetes?

Who is more at risk of diabetes?

Diabetes is a chronic health problem. Diabetes is a health problem that occurs when the body's pancreas does not produce enough insulin or when the body's insulin cannot be used effectively.

Insulin is a type of hormone that controls blood glucose. Disturbances in insulin also cause disturbances in the amount of glucose or sugar in the blood. A pregnant woman's glucose level is 95. Other people should have 100 under normal conditions or 140 two hours after eating. The condition that is more than that is called diabetes. If not controlled in time, it can cause serious damage to many body systems, especially nerves and blood vessels.

Diabetes (Type 2 type) has been increasing worldwide for the past three decades. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 422 million people worldwide are currently suffering from diabetes. Most of them are citizens of low and middle income countries. Similarly, 1.5 million people die every year due to diabetes. A global target has been set to halt the rise in diabetes and obesity by 2025.

Types of diabetes

Like other diseases, there are many types of diabetes. Mainly it can be divided into four types namely type one, type two, gestational and secondary.

Type 1 diabetes: This is an auto immune disease. This disease, which usually occurs in children, is caused by the body's own immune system. The cells in the body that make insulin are called beta cells, which are located in the pancreas. Sometimes the body's immune system damages the beta cells and prevents them from making insulin. Due to the lack of insulin production in the body, the glucose in the blood becomes unbalanced. In the case of type 1 diabetes, children have problems like diarrhea and vomiting.

Type 2 diabetes: About 95 percent of people have type 2 diabetes. This is due to lifestyle, obesity and genetics. Nowadays, it has been found that type 2 diabetes is also caused by stress.

Gestational diabetes: Diabetes that occurs during pregnancy is called gestational diabetes. Diabetes occurs after 24 weeks of pregnancy due to imbalance in hormones. It can affect pregnancy and unborn baby.

Secondary diabetes: Secondary diabetes is a disorder that occurs when beta cells cannot produce insulin due to external factors. When drinking more alcohol, hypothyroid hormone is high and insulin cannot work. It is diabetes caused by other health problems. Secondary diabetes is also cured when the disease is cured.

How to know if you have diabetes?

There are two types of symptoms of diabetes, classic and non-classic. Diabetic patients experience increased hunger, thirst and urination. In this case, urine is more at night. If you don't have to get up the night before, you have to get up one or two or three times during the night when you have sugar. The only thing that will decrease is the weight. This is called a classic symptom.

Non-classical symptoms may include non-healing wounds, fatigue, and ringworm. But one thing to understand is that 50% of people with diabetes have no symptoms. You may have diabetes without knowing it.

Under what conditions will the test be conducted?

Even healthy people should check their sugar at least once a year. When testing like that, not only random sugar, fasting sugar, but 'glycosylated hemoglobin' should be tested, which can tell the blood sugar level of a person for three months. Testing can also be done on the basis of risk (risk factor). For example, if a family member has diabetes, is obese, has a stressful life, does not eat well, does not have a habit of physical exercise, or is planning to have children, it should be tested.

Sometimes the physical condition that we do not notice can also be a symptom of diabetes. For example, the neck looks dirty, the armpits look black. This condition is often seen in children, but it is more easily seen in women. We think this is due to the black sun. But because of diabetes and those who are about to develop diabetes, these symptoms should be tested.

What kind of people are at risk of diabetes?

In the past, people over the age of 50 were considered to be at risk for diabetes. Then it was said that people above 45 years of age can be allowed. But nowadays people above 30 years of age are also prone to diabetes. If there is diabetes in the family, if there is more weakness, then at least once a year a diabetes test must be done.

The changes in people's lifestyles after the Covid epidemic are also increasing the risk of diabetes. After covid, physical exercises from children to adults have decreased and children are also spending more time on laptops and mobile phones. Like in the past, cycling and participating in outdoor sports have disappeared. During the covid era, studying, playing, and entertaining were all on laptops and mobiles. Such physical inactivity also increases the risk of diabetes.

What is the risk of other diseases when having diabetes?

Half of people with diabetes have no symptoms. Diabetes causes health complications. Such complications may come after 5, 10, 15 years. Diabetes can cause problems in the heart, eyes, blood circulation in the legs and kidneys.

Diabetic patients are twice as likely to have heart attack and heart disease. It has been found that almost 90 percent of diabetic patients die due to heart disease. Moreover, the vision is worldwide Diabetes has also been found to be the cause of absence. It damages the retina of the eye, which leads to blindness.

Similarly, the risk of stroke in diabetic patients is 10 to 15 times higher and it also causes paralysis. Even now, diabetes is seen as the reason for having to amputate a leg after an accident. Similarly, diabetes is the main cause of kidney failure.

Something to note

Diabetes is normal, I can control it, I am told nothing happened. Most patients take medicine as soon as they get a little gastric. But instead of taking sugar medicine, there is a tradition that we should eat it and not talk about it. But this should not be done. Even if there are no bad symptoms, it weakens the person and sooner or later, complications can occur at any time. It causes dismemberment.

Most people think that obese people are more likely to develop diabetes. But people with more belly fat are more at risk of type 2 diabetes than fat-lean people. Therefore, more attention should be paid to losing weight than losing weight.

So don't despair if you get diabetes. Adjust your lifestyle, because this is a disease of lifestyle. Take medicine regularly. Consult a doctor on time. Get tested. Don't be careless because there are no symptoms. Raise children in a healthy manner.

Mythology: Who was Sita?

Mythology: Who was Sita?

Sita is an interesting character of mythological texts. Sita, the daughter of King Janak of Mithila, was married to King Rama of Ayodhya. This is the story of Treta Yuga. Eastern philosophy mentions Sita as an 'ideal woman'.

The meaning of Sita in the dictionary is a line made on the ground by the ploughshare, the ploughshare on the ground when plowing. According to the popular story, when Rajarishi Janak plowed to prepare the Yajna land, Sita appeared from that land.

However, there is no uniformity in the mythological texts about the birth of Sita. The birth of Sita is mentioned in Puranas such as Valmiki's Ramayana, Anandaramayana, Adhyayaramayana, Adhyatramayana, Kambaramayana, Devi Bhagavata etc. The Padma Purana and Bhavishi Purana describe in detail how Sita was born.

The most popular story about the birth of Sita is Valmiki's Ramayana. Maharishi Valmiki has written in Ramayana, "There was a severe drought in Mithila state. Then the sages asked King Janaka to organize a yagna to bring rain to Mithila. After the grand yagna, King Janak himself went to plow the field.

While plowing the field, the blade of the plow got stuck on something hard. King Janak could not take out the plow from there. Then they started digging in that place. While digging like this, an urn was found inside the ground.

Lifting the urn, a beautiful girl was seen playing. King Janaka took that girl out of the Kalash and brought it with him. And started raising them by adopting them. It is said that before that no child was born from King Janak and his wife Sunaina. That is why the royal couple brought up Sita as their child. Based on this statement, Sita is called Bhumiputri.

The wonderful story of Ramayana

Another story related to Goddess Sita is mentioned in the wonderful Ramayana. In the story, she is said to be the daughter of Lankapati Ravana and Mandodari. This story is similar to Ramayana.

The story is expanded in this way. A sage named Gritsamad chanted every day to get Goddess Lakshmi as his daughter and used to put drops of milk in an urn with the front part of Kush.

One day when the sage was not in the ashram, Ravana came there. He killed all the sages there and filled the urn with their blood. He took that urn and hid it in his palace so that no one could see it.

By chance, Ravana's wife Mandodari saw that kalash. She was curious to see what the urn was. One day when Ravana was not in the palace, she opened the urn and looked at it. Mandodari started drinking all the blood inside the urn. As a result, she became pregnant.

So that no one would know this difference, she hid her daughter in an urn and went far away from Lanka, and left her in Mithila and returned. That is why Sita is said to be Ravana's daughter.

Cause of Ravana's death

The third story of Goddess Sita is related to a Brahmin girl named Vedavati. Which is mentioned in Brahmavaivarta Purana. In this story it is said that once upon a time Vedavati was doing penance to get Lord Vishnu as her husband. At the same time, Ravana was visiting the Himalayas. His eyes fell on Vedavati and Ravana grabbed the hand of Vedavati, who was doing penance, and tried to force intercourse.

But Vedavati saved herself from Ravana and killed herself by jumping from the mountain into the ditch. When she died like that, she cursed Ravana, 'I will take reincarnation and come to Lanka and destroy you and your family.'

Candidates paid 67,000 dollars to Facebook in the election campaign, who is first?

There is only one week left for the representative and provincial assembly elections. The candidates are busy campaigning with their cadres. Everyone continues to have their own passion and style of persuading voters. The use of modern information technology is also abundant in it. Campaigns are going on through social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok and other internet-based platforms. Which has become natural and necessary. But when looking for the intricacies of the 'electoral network', many knots of problems are found there. The election-focused activities going on in the network reach the financial stage. It seems that the candidates who are contesting to move to the legislative role due to the weakness of the state apparatus and regulators do not pay attention to the existing laws and financial discipline.

21 WHO Health Tips for 2021

21 WHO Health Tips for 2021

Role: As we welcome the 21st year of the 21st century, we are deeply concerned about how to protect our health.

1. Eat natural foods

Today, the whole of humanity is forced to suffer from many diseases due to the artificiality of food. Therefore, there is no alternative to making food natural and healthy. Making food natural means using food as naturally as possible. Using food naturally is extremely beneficial for health.

Besides, special care must be taken to ensure that the naturalness and nutritional value of the food are not lost during cooking. Steaming, frying, and long-term cooking destroy the natural properties of food. Similarly, eating a balanced diet is equally important for health care.

There should be diversification in different types of food items to make the food balanced. Consumption of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, minerals, vitamins, water, and bran is a balanced diet and in addition to grains, pulses, nuts, and tubers, an adequate amount of fruits, vegetables, milk, yogurt, ghee, mohi, sprouts, etc. should be eaten.

Generally, we are consuming adequate amounts of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, but not enough vitamins, minerals, and fiber. We need to have enough fruits and vegetables to get the required amount of vitamins and minerals.

The World Health Organization recommends that an adult consume 5 portions or 400 grams of fruits and vegetables. In this way, adequate intake of fruits and vegetables can prevent micronutrient deficiencies and prevent the spread of non-communicable diseases.

2. Let's adopt a healthy way of cooking

Today we are forced to face many kinds of health problems due to not knowing how to cook healthy food or cook food properly. Unhealthy food cooking involves cooking food in a healthier way, such as undercooking, overcooking, or using harmful chemicals. When food is not cooked properly, bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites can enter the body.

These bacteria can cause more than 200 types of diseases. In the same way, when food is cooked more than it needs, the nutrients, micronutrients, and proteins present in the food are decomposed and the food becomes worthless.

In the same way, adding harmful chemicals to food can make food toxic. Fish should not be overcooked or roasted. To make food healthier, the World Health Organization recommends keeping food clean, not mixing cooked and raw foods, cooking it with pleasure, not overheating over high heat and high heat, and using only healthy and safe spices.

3. Let's reduce the amount of salt

Salt is a compound made up of two elements called sodium and chloride. Both of these elements are essential elements for our body, but when we consume more or less of these elements than required, many problems appear in our health. Even high salt intake raises blood pressure.

Once blood pressure rises, many problems appear in our health. In fact, 2.5 million people die of starvation each year without knowing how to eat salt, and millions of people are forced to live with chronic problems such as high blood pressure, diabetes, stroke, paralysis, and kidney failure.

Therefore, the World Health Organization has recommended not to consume more than 5 grams of salt daily to live a healthy life. 5 gms of salt daily, about 2 gms or 2000 mg. Sodium is replenished. Similarly, 3.5 grams or 3500 mg of potassium should be supplied to our body daily. For this, it is advised to eat potassium salt instead of sodium salt.

To reduce the amount of salt we need to look for both visible and invisible sources of salt. Self-contained salt in food is a visible source, while already salted foods such as salty, lentils, spicy, old pickles, bhujia, etc. are invisible sources. When choosing foods, you need to know which foods contain the most salt. For this, you should not eat too much food if the salt is too high.

4. Don't eat too much sugar

Sugar is another healthy food after salt. Eating too much sugar in children causes tooth decay while eating too much sugar in adults causes obesity. In the same way, people who eat sugar have type 2 diabetes, heart disease, dandruff, various types of cancer, stress, anxiety, and depression, premature aging, fat accumulation in the liver, kidney damage, uric acid increase. Therefore, it is better not to eat sugar at all, but if you have to eat sugar, you should not eat more than 5 percent of the total calories.

5. Let's not eat unhealthy smoothies

To live a healthy life, you have to eat a controlled amount of fat and unhealthy fat should not be included in the diet. Unhealthy fats are mainly saturated fats and trans fats. Saturated fats are found in animal fats such as meat, eggs, ghee, sauna, butter, cheese, margarine, cream, coconut oil, palm oil, lard, etc. Trans fats are found in biscuits, cookies, vegetable oils, and oils that are heated frequently or over high temperatures.

When choosing fat, unsaturated fat should be selected. The main sources of unsaturated fats are vegetable oils such as almonds, apricots, avocados, zucchini, soybeans, sunflowers, olives, canola, and some special species of fish. There is recognition.

6. Let's not drink alcohol

Alcohol consumption kills 3.3 million people every year. In addition to death, long-term use of alcohol can lead to physical, mental, social, and behavioral problems. Similarly, with alcohol consumption, problems such as fatty liver disease, liver cirrhosis, cancer, heart disease, alcohol dependence, road accidents also appear. Therefore, it is not good to drink alcohol under any pretext.

7. Let's not smoke or use tobacco

Smoking and tobacco use kill 7.2 million people a year, and millions of people are forced to live with the adverse health conditions it causes. Tobacco use or smoking increases the risk of various cancers, as well as chronic diseases such as heart disease, asthma, cough, respiratory diseases, stroke, type-2 diabetes. In the same way, smoking affects the health of the people around.

8. Stay physically active

The fact that a person who smokes a cigarette daily carries the same risk of cancer as does a person who is not physically active may surprise many, but it is not surprising. Because those who lead sedentary lives not only have cancer, but also heart and blood vessel diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes, high blood cholesterol, obesity, osteoporosis, osteopenia, kidney stones, bone loss, intoxication, shoulder joint jam, mental bowel syndrome, and intestinal cancer. It also causes depression, vascular atherosclerosis, deep vein thrombosis, constipation, acidosis, indigestion, and insomnia.

According to The Lancet, the rising tide of inactive life does not prevent the 3.2 million direct deaths worldwide and the 25 million preventable deaths associated with other diseases each year. Being physically active means expending a lot of energy on the body's muscles. Spending energy in this way increases the metabolic activity in each of our cells and keeps the cells healthy. To be physically active, go for morning walks, run, skipping, beating, running a trade mill, playing sports, swimming, jumping on a trampoline, trekking, dancing, yoga, aerobics, Zumba, ballet, Activities such as salsa, hiking, cycling on the road, static cycling, going to the gym, climbing stairs, kumfukrante, usu playing, boating, doing water exercises, engaging in karma bari or garden work can be done.

The World Health Organization recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity a week to prevent disease and 300 minutes of physical activity a week to live a healthy life. Those who know how to do physically active exercises can also do some strenuous exercises to gradually strengthen the muscles.

9. Check your blood pressure from time to time

Today, one in four adults in the world suffers from high blood pressure, and 95 percent of them suffer from high blood pressure. High blood pressure is not a disease in itself but the mother of hundreds of diseases. This can lead to problems such as heart attack, stroke, kidney failure, eye attack (loss of vision), heart-swelling, narrowing of blood vessels, swelling and rupture, and mental and emotional illness.

Therefore, high blood pressure is diagnosed and treated in time. Diagnosis of high blood pressure should be done from time to time by using a device called a sphygmomanometer to check your blood pressure and if it is found to be wrong, it should be controlled by taking medicine.

10. Cover nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing

Today the whole world is plagued by airborne diseases. Health problems such as influenza, pneumonia, tuberculosis, and covid-19 are airborne diseases and these diseases kill millions of people every year. As these diseases are contagious, to prevent these diseases, the droplets of feces like saliva, sputum, the saliva of the patient should not be spread to other people and for this, the nose or mouth should be covered with a handkerchief or towel while coughing or sneezing. If you are suffering from such a disease, you should use a surgical mask or KN-95 mask throughout the transition period.

In other cases, if you have a cough or sneeze and you do not have a handkerchief or tissue paper, you should bend your elbows and cover your nose and mouth. Similarly, a person who is coughing or sneezing should not do such activities as sniffing or touching his mouth.

11. Avoid mosquito bites

Mosquito bites have spread many diseases such as malaria, kala-azar, Japanese encephalitis, yellow fever, chikungunya, dengue, and elephantiasis. In fact, mosquito bites kill people every year and make millions sick. The best way to prevent these diseases is to avoid mosquito bites. Measures such as using mosquito nets or mosquito repellent while sleeping to prevent mosquito bites, regularly spraying mosquito repellent in infected areas, destroying mosquito habitats (water freezing areas) can be adopted.

12. Let's drink healthy water

Lack of safe drinking water has led to the spread of waterborne diseases such as cholera, diarrhea, hepatitis-A, typhoid, and polio. Today, 2 billion people around the world are forced to drink unsafe and unhealthy water, which causes millions every year.

People are killed by unsafe drinking water and many people are infected with waterborne diseases. Therefore, drinking water needs to be clean, healthy, and safe. To ensure water security, we need to check the source of the water we are consuming. If the source is clean, the water can be filtered or boiled for 5 minutes.

13. If you are depressed, love someone you trust

Depression affects about 260 million people worldwide, and depression accounts for 90 percent of all suicides worldwide. The life of a person full of despair is constantly filled with pessimistic thoughts and the hope of life ceases to exist and as the condition progresses the patient even commits suicide. If you have a depressing situation in your life, don't be discouraged and don't feel alone, but share it with your friends or seek the advice of a psychiatrist. Depression doesn't do anything if you can control it in time.

14. Do not use antibiotics indiscriminately

Due to the overuse of antibiotics, antibiotics are no longer working. The main reason for this is the development of antibiotic resistance in the body. Bacterial infections can be difficult to cure if antibiotic resistance develops, which can lead to poor treatment, long hospital stays, high medical costs, and high mortality rates. Therefore, do not use antibiotics as you like and take them only under the guidance of a skilled health worker.

15. Get in the habit of washing your hands

Dirty hands can spread many diseases because the hands are constantly touching germs, toxic chemicals, and allergens and these hands are also touching the nose, mouth, eyes, and other parts of the body. Infectious germs, toxic chemicals, and allergens enter the body in this way and we get various diseases. Therefore, keeping the hands clean can prevent many diseases. Hands can be washed with soap and water or a substance containing 70 percent alcohol.

16. Get regular health checkups

By having regular health check-ups, we can prevent the disease from getting worse or even control it at the right time. The disease can be treated better if the disease is detected in time. So go to a health professional near you and get a regular health check-up.

17. Don't drink sugary drinks

Sugary or sugary drinks such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi-Cola, Fanta, Mirinda, Dew, carbonated drinks, Red Bull, Red Tiger, XL, Strongbull, Erna, and energy drinks. Drinks like Real, Active, Burst, Pran, Rio sold in the market under the name of Saka are rich in sugar. These 250 ml drinks contain 25 to 30 grams of sugar or corn syrup and in addition to sugar, alcohol, citric acid, phosphoric acid, bisphenol A, benzene, and many other food preservatives are added.

These drinks contain 500 ml per day. Consumers have a 99% increased risk of developing latent diabetes in adults due to a suicidal immune system and a 20% increased risk of developing type-2 diabetes. Osteopenia, kidney stones, osteoporosis, constipation, acidosis, indigestion, gastritis, gastric ulcer and bowel cancer, mental stress, anxiety and depression, insomnia. So it is better not to use these drinks.

18. Get enough sleep

Our body needs good food and adequate exercise as well as adequate rest. The most natural method of rest is sleep. The health of those who do not sleep well cannot be good. Therefore, sleeping well is not an option for a healthy life. Weight gain, insulin resistance, decreased physical and mental capacity, increased risk of heart disease and stroke, increased risk of type-2 diabetes, weakened immune system, mental problems such as stress, anxiety, fear, depression, and depression in those who do not sleep well. Problems such as nausea, subtle inflammation in the body, and becoming emotionally fragile.

Do not look at bright lights before going to bed at night. Intense light stops the production of the sleep hormone melatonin. Similarly, mental problems such as stress, anxiety, fear, and depression, a sedentary lifestyle also prevent sleep. Therefore, everyone who wants to live a healthy life should try to sleep well.

19. Let's give importance to the bacteria in the stomach

Even though the bacteria in our stomachs are bacteria, they are our best friends. There are more than a thousand species of these bacteria and about four hundred trillion. Collectively, they weigh about 1.5 to 2 kilograms, which is equal to the weight of our brain. These bacteria perform several activities, including helping the baby to digest the milk it drinks, producing short-chain-fatty-acids by digesting fiber and bran, and strengthening the immune and nervous systems. Eating foods high in fiber and bran, such as cereals, pulses, nuts, groundnuts, vegetables, fruits These bacteria can be kept healthy by not eating artificial sweeteners, by eating foods that contain probiotics, by breastfeeding newborns for two years, by not eating processed foods, by eating vegetarian foods, by eating foods that contain polyphenols, and by not taking over-the-counter antibiotics.
